RaktKhoj crosses 56 lakh registered donors

A look at how the network grew this year, and which states are leading donor registrations.

RaktKhoj's registered donor network has crossed 56 lakh donors this month, a milestone that reflects steady, sustained sign-ups rather than any single viral push. The growth has come from a mix of individual registrations, organiser-led camp sign-ups, and repeat donors updating their profiles after subsequent donations.

A handful of states have consistently led registrations over the past year, driven by a combination of active blood bank partnerships and a strong base of recurring camp organisers in those regions. Urban centres still account for the bulk of sign-ups, but district-level coverage has been expanding steadily as more local blood banks and camps get added to the directory.

The milestone is a reminder that a donor network is only as useful as it is current — RaktKhoj continues to encourage registered donors to keep their contact details and last-donation date up to date, since that's what lets the platform surface accurate, nearby options when someone urgently needs a match.
