Much of this expansion has focused on tier-2 and tier-3 towns, where finding an up-to-date list of nearby blood banks — with correct contact numbers and current stock information — has historically been harder than in bigger cities. Local health department partnerships and organiser submissions were the main source of the newly added listings.

The team's next coverage push is aimed at filling in the remaining gaps in the northeast and hill states, where blood banks tend to be more spread out and harder to reach, making an accurate directory even more valuable for patients and families trying to find blood quickly.
